The Association is not for profit and is formed to promote the advancement of knowledge and practice of neuropathology. Knowledge of Neuropathology is intended as research and study of all aspects of the morphofunctional nervous system diseases at the cellular level, subcellular and molecular level. Practice of Neuropathology is intended as diagnosis of diseases of the nervous system based on their morphofunctional features of Neuropathology and how teaching is that the diagnostic procedure in neuropathology. The Association organizes a scientific conference at least once a year and fosters and any other initiatives to achieve the statutory objectives.
